ICE London and iGB Affiliate London Consumer Protection Zone 2022

Returning to ICE London and iGB Affiliate London, the Consumer Protection Zone will be the focal point for discussions and product demonstrations that advance the industry’s efforts in this critical area. In a lot of ways, the igaming affiliate industry has enjoyed a bumper last couple of years, as consumers, forced to stay home because of pandemic lockdowns, turned to online entertainment.

While the number of people affected by problem gambling has remained relatively stable, the awareness of the negative effects of gambling has risen. First established at ICE in 2018, the Consumer Protection Zone has been an important part of the industry’s effort to improve its safer gambling tools and image. Always buzzing, it is a testimony to the industry’s commitment to looking after vulnerable customers, and a great place to network and learn.

2022 Consumer Protection Topics

We are working with our sponsors and exhibitors on finalising the agenda, which will be available in full in early January. Here are some topics we’re planning to include:

  • Latest operators’ initiatives in ensuring safer gambling – recent launches, data sharing challenges, and collaborative approaches.
  • Regulators’ views and assessment of the industry initiatives and using evidence to measure the effectiveness of regulatory restrictions and safer gambling tools
  • Product and technology showcase in prevention, intervention, and treatment
  • Taking the RG conversation forward: ESG, sustainability, materiality index – taking investment in reputation seriously

Sponsorship Zone

We’re now inviting affiliate companies exhibiting at iGB Affiliate London to join us by making a contribution of £6,000. By making a donation, you’ll raise your profile as a progressive company that cares about consumers – all in front of the media, regulators and thousands of ICE visitors.

We raised £65,000 when we last met in 2020 – help us surpass that figure in 2022.

Contact Ewa Bakun on [email protected] to find out how you can add your company to the list of supporters and contributors.

Benefits of becoming a Consumer Protection sponsor include:

  • Logo and profile on the ICE and iGB CPZ website as a supporter/sponsor

  • Branding around the CPZ areas on the show floor
  • A series of PR announcements before and after the show, featuring you as a supporter/sponsor
  • Participation in the donation ceremony
  • Invitation to networking events focused on consumer protection practice and policy
