How is iGB Affiliate London reacting to the current situation in Ukraine?

Updated as of Wednesday 2 March 2022

Given the current situation in Ukraine, we have taken the decision to suspend Russian and Belarusian state entities, companies, and their representatives from participating within Clarion Gaming’s events and digital products including the forthcoming 2022 edition of ICE and iGB Affiliate in London.

Our thoughts are with those affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

COVID Guidance

UPDATED: 7 April 2022

At iGB Affiliate London your safety is our number one priority.

In line with the latest UK Government guidance, iGB Affiliate London no longer requires COVID passports to access the venue. Despite this we will still be taking responsible steps to ensure the event is protected from COVID transmission. Please see below for our latest guidance and biosafety measures:

Self-Assessment  – Before coming to iGB Affiliate London each day  we ask everyone to take the time to self-assess. Are you feeling well? Do you have any symptoms of COVID including  high fever, a continuous cough, change in your sense of smell or taste? If you have any of symptoms of COVID-19 please stay away.

Risk Assessment – We will still assess the prevalence of COVID-19 and assess each element of the event and implement appropriate measures to eliminate or reduce the likelihood of transmission at our event.

Cleaning, Hygiene & Ventilation – A more regular and deep cleaning regime, the provision of sanitising stations, ensuring adequate ventilation and the wearing of PPE (personal protection equipment) for key hygiene staff means we reduce the likelihood of the virus being spread.

Mask Friendly Event - Wearing a face covering or mask will not be compulsory at iGB Affiliate London, per the UK Government guidance. Exhibitors and attendees are however welcome to wear them should they wish.

Communication & Training – We have continued to communicate all the relevant information on biosafety measures with our audience via our website, newsletter and press releases. Onsite, our exhibitors and guests will be advised of how they can help keep the event safe via signage reminding them of the basics; regular hand washing, making extra space and covering coughs and sneezes.

Our exhibitors will be required to consider COVID-19 transmission on their participation risk assessment. Exhibitors have been asked to consider their specific stand activities and how measures can be put in place to eliminate or reduce transmission of the virus. This provides an extra level of protection when you visit their stands.

Do I qualify as an affiliate?

Affiliates

Also called publishers or webmasters, an affiliate is a person that refers traffic (in this case players) to an operator's website, for example pokerlistings.com would refer a player to 888.com. The affiliate is then paid a revenue share or CPA (cost per acquisition) for each of the players they send.

Registering as an affiliate

If you are not sure if you qualify as an affiliate, please email us directly at [email protected] with details of your business. We will then be able to let you know if you qualify for free entry. If you register as an affiliate under false pretence, we reserve the right to refuse you entry on the day.

If we are made aware of anyone that has entered the event as an affiliate and is in fact not, they will be asked to leave the venue. They will then be given the opportunity to register again and pay for their delegate place, allowing them to return to the show. If they choose not to do this, they will be refused entry to the remainder of the event and associated parties.

We ask for your help in letting us know immediately if you believe someone has registered as an affiliate who should not have. Please approach any member of the events team who will deal with this in the strictest confidence.

Please remember: we can only continue to run events these events, which enable operators and vendors to meet the best-quality affiliates, if those that should pay for entrance do so.
